Does your past dictate your future?
Causality dictates your past, present and future

My autism does.

No. In the past I sat at home playing video games and fapping and shit posted on 4chan. And I continued this for years and years and now. One day I suddenly became the CEO of a multibillion dollar company
So you see. One's past has no influence on your future. So no you don't need to work hard or apply yourself. Things just magically happen by themselves.
The past of all the things that have effect on you in the present dictate your future.

mom was overprotective and didn't let me go outside, now I have social pseudo-autism
i would think somewhat
if you just told some nigger to go kill himself and he punches you it was definitely your past

No, for the past doesn't exist anymore than the future, there's just an ever evolving present, every present isn't disconnect from the previous and the next but an exchange.
Reality is but a permanent alchemical process.
That's why you can't have what >>34247943 describe. You aren't a NEET then suddenly Potus.
Your coffee will become colder and colder, Hitler's discourses on the radio echoing in the cosmos forever and going weaker and weaker, until something with godamn big ears catch it.
An infinity of presents, each a near perfect twin of the other but containing the instability necessary for the next exchange, producing the next present.
Time is of the essence.

For the most part. Unless you have extreme perseverance to change, but even then I doubt it'd feel genuine.
your future is based off the present, your present is based off the past.
i've found it's possible to change it just isnt easy, we develop habits to do things as easy as possible. changing that is not easy. the past was all about doing things easy.
although future is just figuring out how to do more difficult things easier too so i guess the past sort of does still in a way
