My second semester of college starts in a couple days. The first semester I tried to hang out with normies, gaming club people, dnders, smash players, a religious group, and I didn't like any of them. Write your calendar for the next week or so out on another piece of paper. Also have that in an obvious location, e.g. next to your bed or in fron of your seating position at your desk.

This helped me a lot to cope with all the extra organising and shit you have to do at college

Sounds like effort but once you're doing it it's literally seconds to write down items as they come up, and it saves a lot of time sinc eyou won't miss important things anymore (or at least less)

That is literally it. Doing that, I had an excellent experience as far as noise and late night bullshit. But my friend lived in regular ol' university dorms freshman year. He constantly complained to me about his suitemate's speakers, and I heard them on a few occasions.

To be fair, my friend is a beta who'd rather be sleep deprived than have a basic conversation to explain how the noise is affecting him. Going directly to the person should be your first option. Lots of people truly think that the music isn't that loud, or that everybody likes EDM or Kanye anyway, so hey, I'll blast it. Every single time I've talked with somebody, they were like "oh, ok, sorry about that." They aren't consciously trying to piss you off.

I was in the same situation in my first year. Talked to a few people, got like 10 fb friends out of it and 1-2 people I occasionally talked to.

Joined a sports club the next year, almost +100 fb friends and regularly socialising now. Really helps as it gives you another shot at making friends. Also much easier as people will go to the pub after training etc. so all you gotta do is tag along. Awkward at first but worth it

About to start my second semester of my third year but I'm still a sophomore because I failed classes. To make matters worse my major in four year is gonna be a total meme major I'm not even honestly interested in.

We got at the uni what I call a "comfy zone". It's placed on the top floor, lot of windows etc. There are plenty of couches and huge pillows on which you can rest or learn eventually. There are always asian qts there who sometimes ask me for help. The nicest time I got at uni desu I am feeling alive then.
