One time when I was younger and camping with my family, we went to a liquor store for my parents. They had those dispensers near the front of the store but instead of dispensing candy, they had little plastic balls with cool random little toys inside them like a miniature pistol, a slappy hand thing, and that stuff, and it was 75 cents
I begged my dad for three quarters and got a plastic ball but much to my disappointment it was just a sheriff badge sticker; I got the short end of the stick and was given the worst possible toy available
My dad was pissed at me for wasting seventy five cents on a stupid small sticker and I was too; that was my first personal crisis about the value of money and how reckless I was to throw it away
