Yep, it was total shit. My favorite part was their "zero tolerance" policy towards unexplained absences, because everyone skipped so much. Obviously, it didn't fucking work. They barely enforced it as the halls were full of screaming shitheads every day. Some of the kids weren't even from our school.

I didn't, I remember being proud of never attending any HS after-school dance functions of any kind. A large part of my mindset was, why the fuck would I want to go back to the building at night, I was just there all day, when I leave the building, I am done with it for the day. Going back to the same fucking building at night is just depressing.

I'm pretty sure that I spent the evening playing Final Fantasy Tactics alone in my bedroom, a few blocks away, and feeling very satisfied with myself. Zero regrets.
