Dumping all the shit of your life so that you can move on from it, sharing your problems, sharing others' problems, empathizing, sympathizing, receiving empathy, receiving sympathy, get criticism of yourself so that you can improve yourself.
What you take from this board is entirely dependent on how you use it. If you try to get other people to validate your laziness by saying that working out won't fix anything, and your life is determined by your genes, you'll suffer because it's not true outside of here. If you come here for trap porn, you get trap porn. If you come here to share yourself with the people here, you get genuine, honest, human interaction, and if you're lucky, a whole lot of love.
I've been there before at first it's fine but quickly gets boring and depressing. There's a little voice telling you to change but you block it out with weed booze other drugs watch tv jerk off. Your inner voice begins to insult and redicule you it sucks becausse you know it's true gets you deeper and deeper in the hole. You feel like your a loser and can't change the anxiety and constant shame weigh heavy on you it's a vicious cycle

This place is hell, plain and simple. I wouldn't go so far as to say that there is no escape from this madness....that's on you.

>What are you even doing here?
Exactly what I wrote anon. You don't get it because you come here with a different attitude, I don't get the "this place is hell" maymay because it's not my attitude, that's just the way it is.

It's not hell at all anon, I enjoy coming here and interacting with you people. As I said, what you get from this board is dependent on how you use it, and if I may be more specific, your attitude when using it. You want and expect hell, so that's exactly what you get,

You literally don't belong here. You are probably the type of guy who comes on /r9k/, peruses all the topics therein and then proclaims in a cheery/mocking tone "wow! And I thought my life was bad!". Do you come here to make yourself feel better because you don't have it as bad as others? Tell me. Or don't.

There aren't any
You could argue arcanine gives people the ability to use english at a middle school level and you can read thereby making you somewhat literate but it's probably not any kind of benefit

Occasionally there's an OC thread of some sort where we can have some fun doing something stupid
