DELET THIS

Internet memes were still fresh and 4chan was practically undiscovered. Everything was so innocent.
>>34207065
>"I Am Legend" came out
>people used Sony Ericsson cellphones with mechanical keys
>internet access on phones wasn't a thing back then
>the first iPhone was just about to be released
>terrorism seemed still so far away in europe

>How do you cope /r9k/?
Not very well.

4chan (or at least /b/) was becoming mainstream during 2006 and 2007.
I remember when they attacked the G4TV forums for doing a piece on them.
>>34207065
>tfw we'll never be in a non-meme generation again.
4chan is close to being dead anyway. What happens after that.
>>34207065
I honestly have no idea. That freaks me the fuck out. 2011 was 6 years ago, over half a decade. Two thousand fucking eleven. 2013 was 4 years ago. 4 years ago KnK, SNK, and KLK came out.
10 years ago Lucky Star and Haruhi were popular and this SJW cancer was virtually nonexistent. 10 years ago people said IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR and facebook had only just been created.

We died the day /b/ decided to get on the news. Now we're on the news almost daily, Cnn just did another article on us so if we had any chance we've lost it.
>>34207065
where did the time go? I honestly can't believe that the early days of 4chan have become nostalgic for me. It's all gone.
>>34207332
The internet has been nostalgic for me since 2005. At that time I missed late 90's chatrooms. It happens man, one day we'll be talking about this era of the internet. The one thing I've learned is that it only gets worse from here.
>The Simpsons Movie is 10 years old
>tfw no gf for all those years
>>34207065
Where do we even go from here, robots? The best years are well behind us and they're only going to get further away. Meanwhile, the future holds nothing but decline, and definitely holds no place for us.
These feels are almost unbearable now, but I cannot fathom how much more terrible and depressing they must be at 60 or 70 years old. The walls slowly close in and there's seemingly no way out. What can one do in the face of all this, /r9k/?
