I'm a regular male and enjoy baking.
It's nice to bake a pie or cake and have other people enjoy it.
I've had people tell me they try to stop by any time a person in my family has a birthday because there's a high change there'll be cake that I've made.

Actually, I'd say the majority of women don't even know how to cook.

Idk but I fucking love cooking. Baking is for plebs. I mean I can bake, sure, but there's just something about cooking in a pan or cast iron skillet. It's fun to create dishes. I love making what I cook look nice on the plate. And I don't have my family over often, but cooking is one of my only talents and I love, love, love blowing my mom and female relatives away with my cooking because they can't hold a candle to it. I almost wish I had friends to cook for.

Usually 170c for 45 minutes or so, until it starts smelling cakey
I don't follow specific recipes but usually 2 cups flour, half a cup of cornstach, 3 or 4 eggs, I prefer using canola oil instead of butter so like... half a cup of oil. Half a cup of milk or coconut milk, and a tablespoon of baking powder

I'm am ameristani and that roughly converts to 338F. When I bake my (sweet) breads (like, not for sandwiches and dinner; for dessert), I bake them for 1hr at ~176c

try turning up the heat and baking it for longer, Your Mileage May Vary. Is that recipe your own or did you get it from somewhere? Seems like a lot of eggs lol
