Poorfag- growing up not very economically privileged and the way this modern education system works, I am terrible with money. I want to get better at understanding economy and the economical system as a whole. I find it interesting.
Any particular books I should look at or places I should go on the internets?

I really enjoyed this read. Depending on your views there are personal finance blogs and investopedia. I liked early retirement extreme since he's all about the neet life. Mr money mustache sends out some strong neet vibes too and he's not afraid to shit all over dumbass wagies.
Its pretty simple though. The main thing is to minimize spending, invest in mutual funds, and retire once you have 25x or more your annual spending invested and draw no more than 4% a year.
There's never been a better time to be alive. Poverty just doesn't exist anymore except as lifestyle choices, much like being gay or having aids. Even the poorest person is still living better than kings had for centuries. Running water, exotic foods, more books than could be read in a lifetime and at no cost, and that's barely scratching the surface.
