What is r9k's thoughts on political centrism or near centre people such as centre left or center right. Would the centre left and centre right be willing to work together and compromise, or would it just degenerate into another shitfest of left vs right?

To me, it's a cop-out. It says " I want to participate in political discussion, but I'm very much afraid of offending people." Politics is pretty useless if your ideologies lack any sort of conviction.
Politics is just mental masturbation.
Centrism is always misleading, because Centrism as well as Left and Right aren't really about how strongly you feel about something, rather most issues are absolute in nature and Centrists are defined not by neutrality or political apathy, but rather nuanced outlooks that support the left on some issues, and the right on other issues, split roughly 50/50. You could have 2 Centrists who are totally inverted on political issues, but are both nearly total middle Centrists because of the fact they side with the left on about half the issues and with the right on the other half.

How about radical centrists, who aggresively take good ideas from both sides?

Sounds like some sort of omnipotent arbitrator. The ultimate in pretentiousness
