It was only good for like 2 years. It got shit once they started to force the likes of people such as shane dawson, fred, sxe phil, shaytards and ray william johnson on the front page regardless if people wanted to see them or not. This was also around the time they started implementing shit like partner programs to make money and they pretty much sold to google very shortly after.
Basically youtube has mostly been shit the entire time.
