Most people don't even interact with 90%+ of people on their friends list. The few they interact with on a regular basis are close friends which they interact with regularly anyways.

The only time I leave my house is to go to work and I don't meet new people at work. Having no friends is starting to really get to me and I don't know how to socialize irl. I figure I could at least use it as a tool to meet new people but I'm finding it hard to have any kind of presence on the internet that's not anonymous

I use it because I need to follow some news from specific groups and basically fall in the second category. I manage to be friendless even on facebook.

You don't meet friends on facebook, hell you don't even socialize on facebook. You just add friends that you already know and listen to their boring life updates. If you try to meet people on facebook people you will come off as a robot or an actual spam bot, don't do it.

I log into facebook for the first time in months last week. I was added to a group from people back in high school and they wanted to go on a holiday with me.

Instantly left because I'm broke and because I don't want to get bullied again.

I just like a ton of meme pages and groups and share shit i think is kek

You don't need a facebook these days. Once you've made one you can deactivate it but still use the messenger app to keep in contact with friends , if you have any
