this is not just a matter of a difference of opinion anon, your method is OBJECTIVELY inferior. There is LITERALLY no benefit, whatsoever. There is no reason to have more than one tab of 4chan when the thread watcher exists, and I sincerely hope you realize why having too many threads open is bad, especially when keeping them open serves NO purpose other than to... watch the threads... to see new notifications.

you know how many threads I am watching right now? Maybe like 30. How would you handle this, big guy? Thirty tabs? What if the browser force closes? I suppose you would go to history and manually open them all again?

the thread watcher does this in a much more elegant way, because this is what it was designed to do, and doesn't require hundreds of tabs or wasting the memory on your computer for no purpose other than to check for new posts in a thread
