If you were wondering if I feel the same way about citizens who break the law, I do not. A "no victim" crime like entering illegally, done by a citizen, is just a disagreement with his or her government, not necessarily disrespect. If an immigrant comes legally and obtains citizenship, I would feel more this way, but still be wary that they are not willing to culturally integrate.

Citizens by birth are citizens by birth. It is up to me who I want in my country, and I will select them carefully.
