That said, confidence usually comes from being atractive, sometimes from being really talented or high social status.

That's a shallow goal, though. If you want to be an interesting person with drive and purpose that people want to be around then find out what you like and develop yourself emotionally. You may not know what the goal is but you know that you want to figure out what the goal is.
