no, I did an extra year to redo some classes and take more uni appropriate classes so I could get into a good uni. I got into uni and dropped out a month into it.

I did because Florida public schools are fucking garbage. I barely scraped by until my 16th birthday then immediately dropped out.
Until I turned 18 I worked shit part time jobs like McDonalds and then got my GED. It all worked out pretty well.

Dropped out at 16 and went immediately to work paid off my house at 35.
