I once tried teaching my grandfather how to use a computer/internet and it was downright impossible. There just seems to be a mindset in that generation which makes it really difficult to get them to understand computers, even if you go really slow.

I almost feel that happening to myself even though I'm only 29, I don't have a mobile phone, a facebook/twitter account, and many things in mainstream culture perplex me too.
