Yeah I have before. Met her at a psych ward of all places. I was 15 at the time, and was suicidal. Life was just headed in a shit direction. I didn't care about anything, then I met her. This was the first time I fell in love and is still the only time I loved and I'm 19 now. I still think about her, she was just so much better than any girl I ever met before. It's hard to care or chase girls that don't compare. I have felt infatuation over girls since, but I know it isn't love. Feels bad man.

She's out of my life, will probably never talk to her again, and if I do, I don't think she'd want to talk to me because of some dumb shit I did. Gone but not forgotten, I accept I'll never have her, but man, other girls just can't compare. How am I supposed to move on when other girls aren't as funny or interesting or smart as her? My first gf is special to me, though she wasn't my true love or anything, and we ended on bad terms too because I wanted to be an anime MC and make sure she hated me when we broke up so that she could forget about me or look forward to dating someone else. It hurts, but I didn't love her, at least not fully. If you attracted a girl you loved in the past, no reason you can't do it again. There is hope. I'm still searching and even though I get down for a bit, I always bounce back because I want to regain the success I've had in the past.

Her and I weren't in a relationship, but I wanted to be in one with her. She had a boyfriend at the time, she didn't necessarily complain about him, but I got the impression something was wrong. He barely called her while she was admitted into a psych ward after attempted suicide and he didn't visit a single time over three months. Her and I became good friends and I thought she would be better off with me so I admitted my feelings. Sounds stupid, but I don't regret it. It was worth a shot and I still stand by that belief that she would be happier with me based on what I learned about her relationship. But oh well. The best ones are always taken. Haven't had any success with girls since, haven't really tried though either. Where do people even meet girls outside of bars or mutual friends any way? God knows I'm not going to meet anyone special on this board.

I'm struggling to meet girls too. Are you in uni, or do you live at home or what? I'm in uni and the girls here are pretty bad, but they are a cut above the general population. You have clubs and programs you can join that can help you meet girls. I'm the secretary of our tea club, and I'm able to hone my socialization skills there as a sort of host. Something comparable would probably work great for you.

Ahhh I see. I can appreciate good visuals, but I really am more interested in the story aspect. Overwatch is just for me to chat with other people in a normal setting. Right now, any video game without a love sub-plot doesn't really interest me. Probably will change when I get a gf.

My hobbies & passion?

I like to build/repair computers, sometimes for friends or random people, next to this I like to travel with my Wifi Pineapple. If I need to go somewhere I take my bag and my stuff while my the pineapple does its stuff and when I come home, I always encounter some interesting stuff about people I meet or random people i've been around.

I also am very interested in buying a telescope and watching the stars at night. But I dont have the amout of money yet to buy a proper telescope. If I get a girlfriend, I'd really like to do it together.

We just sit in a room for 3 hours ever Friday afternoon and drink tea and have discussions. Can be really chill small talk or heated political stuff depending on who shows up and how long they stay. Really comfy and rewarding club.

She said she still loves him, (after telling me she'd leave him for me) he found out we had been talking for 2.5 years so we decided to stop and she blocked me on everything. I felt so bad for doing it and I know she did too but it's like I couldn't bring myself to stop talking to her, we had so much in common and could talk for 12 hours straight without getting even a little bored. The last 4 dreams I've had have revolved around or somehow involved the female friend that I have/had feelings for. I have talked with her about the feelings part and they don't get in the way unless I'm having a relapse and since we don't live in the same town/city anymore, it doesn't interfere with anything outside of my head.
It's annoying that my brain seemingly randomly decides to regress a few months on this topic but I think it's just screaming out that it wants to be loved because my friend and I were/are close and geography is the only thing blocking comfy times.
