You can get out of neetdom through education or training rather than employment. Where do you live? In the US community colleges have approximately no standards and you can transfer to a four-year college (even a very good one if you're good enough) afterwards, in Australia TAFE is pretty good and it's even easier to get in without a recent high school diploma than with one. Other anons will know about other countries.
You can also become 'self-employed'. If you're good at writing, and more importantly if you can do a lot of writing in a short space of time, you'd be surprised how much some people can make from self-publishing novels. The website kboards should set you up. It's also got that kind of comfy feeling a lot of forums that are mostly middle-aged women have. You can also make art and sell it on Etsy, take lucrative furry porn commissions, and other assorted things that for normies are 'side projects' but that can be worked into main sources of income, especially if you're non-meme autistic or otherwise fucked in a way that means any 'real' job you can get would be shit-tier.

Its good to have but not really necessary, every job you go to has to give you their own forklift course/license. Its basically just picking something up and driving in a circle, but its done every time. But the courses are cheap as shit, and it might help you get your foot in the door, or stand out from other resumes

When I was out of work I'd walk around to apply at places to see what other stores or jobs might be around or have any help needed signs or advertisements around. Lots of places would be closed down and I'd walk past miles of housing, all of those housing and rental units house a person that needs a job, when there is obviously way more housing than jobs around you kind of have to just wait and hope they get around to picking you since they probably have a huge pile of applications sitting around already it's not like all of those people have easy transportation around. Also have reliable transportation I'd get an interview once every so often and it'd mostly just bomb badly because I didn't have transportation at the time. Like the only times I was getting interviews was when I was between having a car for one reason or another and they'd make it very clear it was obviously a problem if I took the bus or just showed up on time without driving there.

I'm 22 and I have no work experience aside from a 5 month internship (barely did anything, just had to analyze a few sets of data in a week) at a local CC where I got a $300 stipend last year, and 100 hours of community service at the library back in 2012.

How fucked am I if I want a cashier or stocking job at a place like Target. I need to get a job by the end of the month since I'm getting kicked out. Should I even bother with online apps, or what?
