Has any vidya addicted tried dropping vidya completely here? Does it make you a less pathetic person?

Vidya is the only way to satisfy ones natural need for the power process. Quitting completely will make you depressed

I had a stint in college where I tried to develop more normalfag hobbies.
In my experience it didnt really do me any good.
If it's your only hobby, you'll feel hollow.
Vidya isn't innately good or bad for you, but it provides you a platform to impose your will into reality. Everyone needs something that allows them to do this.
What that thing is varies from person to person.
Vidya is only seen as pathetic because it produces nothing tangible for others to see unless you are a professional.
You can keep playing vidya, but do try to find another hobby or something new to try. Don't feel like you have to do what everyone else is doing; find something that you actually want to do.

it only made vidya uninteresting aswell, now ive got nothing
ty
i guess you need something to replace the hole left.
i still play vidya everyday but i cant enjoy it anymore it all feels like "played this nothing new in this one." its mostly mmos these days like tera,b&s,BDO,ffxiv, moonlightblade ect although i dont play any of those anymore since the "fresh" feeling they gave isnt there after youve understood how this game works its plot its mechanics mostly ive just played those for the cosmetics and once ive gotten them i just quit, i go back to skyrim quite often aswell but only because it takes 2 days to get all the mods and then never play it.
It doesn't help. I tried dropping it but I just became a more moody person
The thing I enjoy most in life was no longer available for me so my days became just studying, going to class, then coming home and trying to fill the time by watching TV or browsing 4chan.
