It does, I have a full ass beard yet was considering filling some spots up before it pretty much almost completely filled up. If you're under 24 I suggest waiting(Worked for me). However If you do it for 6-12 months you WILL see results, I have done enough research to know.

It may irritate your skin if you live in a very hot region so i'm not sure about sunscreen. I live in Canada and it's cold here all the fucking time.

Not sure. As opposed to my once a daily minoxidil topical app I only use my facial minoxidil once every two days.
Probably not entirely permanent but it looses hair much slower compared to if you stop topical minoxidil which then happens very fast is very quick.

I'm thinking of lowering my dose to 0.5ml 5% once every two days, I think the beard gains will stay.

I too, had cystic acne. The asshats who would tell me "Oh just like use proactive or wash your face" would really piss me off. My acne got angry when you tried to fuck with it. The only cure I found was to~ brace yourself. Do it the same way doctors do it. A needle and a squeezing tool, drain the bastard. Apply rigorous amounts of soap after, cleaning it with cold water. All it does is speed up the process of your beard naturally becoming thicker with age. It can't fucking create pores for the hair if you don't actually have them. Just be fucking patient and wait a few years to see if it'll fill in any more or not. There's no point in just speeding up the process by a bit and having to deal with all the side effects.

The fact that the sideburn and chin hair doesn't connect on both sides is one of the most frustrating things of my life. I'm hoping it'll fill in in a few years but I'm not too confident about it.

I'm in my 30s and have pitiful facial hair, no sideburns whatsoever, can literally count the hairs on my cheeks, goatee area is so sparse its pathetic.

I have been thinking of Minox for months now. There are tons of guys doing it on Youtube. The consensus seems to be that you need to do it for at least 12 months in order to stand a chance of keeping your gains.

I honestly don't think I'll do it despite being desperate for just normal stubble, I don't even want a fucking beard tbph. But those guys doing this experiment on themselves are like roid users, they are in denial of the possible long term effects.

Minox is nasty chemical shit and not intended for facial use. It depletes your skins collagen making premature ageing, eyebags etc a very real possibility. Having that shit in your bloodstream constantly for a year cannot be a good idea either.
