What if you are the antagonist in the novel of your life?

You are the protagonist by definition.
Maybe your habits are the antagonist.
Maybe you consider yourself an antihero.

>Maybe you consider yourself an antihero
I'm literally my own worst enemy
There has to be a conflict for that to be the case. Who are you opposing, society? It doesn't care. Robots aren't rebellious/evil anti-heroes. They're nonentities, background characters. The protagonists of stories not even they would read.

>implying you're the main character in your own novel
Y E S
There's this aspect of my psyche that I've been fighting all of my life
Like a little fucking demon in my head that ruins everything and everyone I love
I literally used to hallucinate it as a child, it would stare at me from under the bed and its red hot eyes would penetrate anything I tried to cover it with. I called it "The Lizard".
Now it's consuming me and I'm so fucking angry and sad.
If i'm the antagonist, then there will be hell to pay.

Most background characters are the ones with the strongest/best storylines.

It's not as bad as it sounds, really.

Most barely get any attention at all and serve like one function.
