Who else has bland, middle of the road normie parents
My mom and dad are nowhere near Chad and Stacey tier and they never were, but they're not even remotely robots or even cyborgs either.
They're just run of the mill middle aged suburban people with no interesting traits and with mediocre tastes in everything.
It always seemed strange to me as a kid when other kids had cool or weird or interesting parents.
It's like my family has no identity at all.
My dad's only interests are watching shitty action movies and new Macbooks/Apple gadgets.
My mom just watches shitty tv shows.
They have maybe one or two friends at church.
That's it.
They find robots too weird and misanthropic. They find Chads/Stacies too wild and crazy.

And they have the most boring, cookie cutter personalities of anyone you will ever meet and all they listen to is classic radio rock
Where people this boring in the past? Maybe we just didnt have time to think about it since there wasn't as much lesiure time.

I think conserism and globalism are making people increasingly bland and uninteresting and all kind of the same.
But I also think to some extent a lot of people are always boring and just follow trends without really thinking.
In my parents' generation it was hard rock, leisure suits, big hair, etc. Now it's problem glasses, flannel shirts, and "indie folk" Trends change but normies are pretty much the same.
