The girls at a school I went to played this game called Strawberry. Basically, under certain conditions you could say "strawberry" to someone who was playing, and then name a person. They would then have to go ask that person out. The goal was to make it as embarrassing as possible by picking the weirdest/least attractive person for them to ask out.

I got asked out a bunch at that school. The first time, I was happy. Then I learned what was going on. Now, whenever someone compliments or shows interest in me, romantic or otherwise, I get the horrible, overwhelming sense that they are just playing a joke on me.
