Frisson is a sensation somewhat like shivering, lasting for 3-4 seconds. It is typically expressed as an overwhelming emotional response combined with goosebumps.
So /r9k/, what songs give you frisson, and why?

>that rush at 3:33
the song makes me envision an epiphany as sunlight breaks the horizon after a long, unfortunate night.

At 3:39 there are three notes that do not make any sense at all. I have a hard time believing that the artist meant to leave them in the song, but it's in there and he's never said anything about them. I listen to this song frequently and I believe those notes cause a "frisson" in me. It's unnerving because the rest of the song is quite methodical and has a satisfying progression, but those notes are a thorn in my side. Makes the song a flawed masterpiece.

3:15, and basically from there to 4:05 I intermittently get frisson. This part also makes me cry involuntarily sometimes.

Only the first slow part, frisson starts when the piano joins in.
The entire song gives me shivers but this part; the way it rises and then crashes, just makes me go nuts.
