I got really scared when I thought I had blinded myself when I got some chemicals in my eyes. It burned like a motherfucker, but my vision came back after a short while. It was some cleaning solvents and stuff. A large brush was in a bottle and that made the bottle fall over, splashing everywhere.

It wasn't very long. Just a few minutes maybe. I tried googling the msds sheet to find out what to do or expect, which was hard for obvious reasons. I was freaking the fuck out and had a million thoughts going through my mind. I remember thinking I'd be ok with being blind, but that my dad would be pissed. I thought about the last person I saw. Of course I thought about all the stuff I liked but would have to give up like vidya and shooting guns. If I remember right I felt around frantically until I found a sink and started flushing my eyes out with water while thinking all this. I was probably yelling a lot too.

not the same, but my older sister sprayed detergent in my eyes when I was maybe 6.
I suppose I got payback when I pushed her into the fridge the next year and made her loose her first tooth.
