Do any of y'all robots lucid dream?
I have been wanting to get into it recently, as it seems like the perfect robot hobby. The WILD technique seems fine, but I'm having trouble getting it to work. I get to what feels like just before sleep paralysis, then I sorta freak out and everything resets.
W.I.L.D.'s for pro level 200 Seers you moron.

What would you suggest as a more beginner-friendly method?

Assuming a healthy sleep schedule, it's way easier to lucid dream, and dream in general, by taking naps in the afternoon.
I always have very vivid dreams taking a nap after lunch (12pm to 1 pm)

Count your fingers. Read something look away see if it changes. Look for inconsistencies. It does take a level of concentrated effort to not focus on the material world all day and night. Recently I've been falling back in my studies due to this plane getting very interesting.
I used to do it all the time, but I ended up getting sleep paralysis almost every night after a while.
I also never felt rested when I woke up.
Lucid dream every night. Last one I was building giant structures with legos that moved and there was a ginormagantuan tortoise the size of a city.
I can do pretty cool shit in dreams.

eat some acid, its way easier
but test it before, otherwise you'll end up an autistic sloth from the goonies

There's a really good app for Android (might be for iOS I haven't checked) called awoken. It's free, and it's a very good lucid dreaming aid. It sends reminders about reality checks, and keeping track of your dream. I'd recommend it

no, i got pretty close to accidentally having one this week though
>lay in bed to sleep
>start dreaming almost instantaneously because was tired as fuck
>in some mansion hallway
>notice all the lights shit start dimming, pitch black outside the windows
>feel like something bad is closing in on me
>realize im in a nightmare
>Start yelling wake up repeatedly and trying to wake up
>cant wake up
>i wake up
felt pretty bad when i realized i cucked myself desu, but at least the nightmare went away

Looking up the WILD technique now. Thanks, OP. Gonna try this tonight!
I do it every night and have been doing it since I was maybe 2 or 3 without even realizing what it was until a few years ago. Shit's fun. Have lived lifetimes in there and now the only joy I get out of life is being asleep.
