There was a bunch of ants in the house one summer, and my dad said that they came into the house through our shoes while we walked in the yard. Like they climbed onto our shoes by the dozen during that split second where our foot is on the ground and then scattered as soon as we got indoors.

He tried to wash dishes one time. He used floor cleaner.

Same with my mom, these days she doesn't know how to fucking use a computer or in the internet but I have vague memories of her doing and saying dumb things when I was a kid. Like my brother and my dad would get into these big violent fistfights and she would come crying into my room and ask me what to do. Jesus Christ woman I was like 10 years old at the time I'm still learning math and fractions I don't know how to raise kids and a family you're supposed to be the adult.

Sometimes I think it's all a ruse and when I'm out of the house they just sit down and be normal for a while and they're all "whew this act of pretending to be retarded so that out NEET lazy son moves out sure is hard!"
