I know this feel very strongly OP.
My father's side is all dead or deadbeats I've never met.
My mom's side is 1000 miles away and they are all degenerates.
And I don't even get to see my immediate family in gatherings because of how broken we all are.
I don't remember the last time we were all together as a family for an event.

Everyone else I know always has these big gatherings on thanksigivng or christmas and look at my like a freak when I say I'll just be at home by myself.

Tfw hate my family.
They're so critical of every little thing, I can't even get one hour without their criticism.
I stay in my room so I don't see them now, I've tried telling them but they just get defensive and angry basically telling me I'm crazy or retarded without even noticing the irony.
I long to leav home but I can't because of money and college.
