I had my first boxing class today. It wore me the fuck out, but I never once thought about quitting. My knuckles are bruised as shit and my legs ache really bad. My next class is on wednesday, and I'm really excited.

No gf but I've been talking to a few girls but with no real interest- I had my heart ripped out and shat upon last summer and so I'm staying out of a relationship if I can help it for a while. Just wanna do my own thing.

I also started working again. 60 hour weeks, dangerous physical labor, but the 1000 a week after taxes is alluring. Starting to save up for an apartment with a couple other friends, and I wanna get a puppy as well just for some companionship.

I really hate how this board has slowly turned into the place where being a depressed, resentful NEET is celebrated and any attempts at self improvement are met with shrieks of "NORMIE! REEEEEE"

I went from being a 350 weak NEET with zero willpower to being a -->

270 pound STRUNK (but still pretty fat) guy with plans for a job in the summer.

In just a few months.

I'm finishing up my highschool that got anally fucked by my mental illness when I should have gotten it. I'm using tinder and I'm actually getting matches with girls above a 3/10 (not gunna get suc from a landwhale, but nice to know I arouse some attention in some grills now). I'm working on my basic willpower that I never developed so I can do all the shit I know I need to right away instead of putting it off or not doing it entirely, like I always used to.

It might seem like a small victory to some, but If I have the thought "hmm, i need to do my laundry tonight while the water is cheap" I can force myself to actually get up and do it right away. That was a basic thing that was out of my reach for a long time.

I didn't have a ride to the gym today, so I walked. 4 km both ways. That's far as fuck for a fatass like me, especially when I'm walking there just toe exercise some more.

I'm actually pursuing my hobbies everyday and thinking about my future when before I has just sorta accepted the idea that I was going to coast on the NEET wave for as long as I could, then kill myself when it ran dry.

I'm on my way to making it, boys. Slowly, but I'm getting there. And that hope feels better then anything I could have imagined.
