drinking carlton draught (australian beer) at the moment.
first time having any. tastes a bit 'weird' but not too bad. it's sort of caramel flavour to it. hard to say what the extra flavour is but caramel is closest i can describe to it, but not sweet caramel.. i can't think of anything else though
better than VB or XXXX gold but if I was drinking more than 2 or 3 beers then I don't know, the taste might be bad like how pale ales are shit after 2 or 3 of them (atleast to me).

this is completely wrong. it's the opposite actaully: the beer needed antioxidants for the trip so brits used lots of hop, and here u have the extremely hopped beer. on a side note, the bitter hoppy taste is the opposite of the sweet malty one in a 'beer flavour spectrum'.


and, ipa is not edgy at all: someone likes his beer sweet, others like it bitter. that's all senpai

vodka itself is much better. mixed with tonic i don't know. i just mixed it with lemonade like i do vodka. tasted worse then just vodka, both mixed and in a shot.

Gin is basically just Vodka but with botanicals infused in it, so depending on the gin it can have a whole bunch of different flavours. At the right time and a place, such as when it's really hot outside, a G&T is amazing.

Decent white wine can be amazing (for example a good Austrian or German Riesling is absolutely stunning, as is a good aged Semillon) but as a general rule I prefer red wine by a long shot. I could happily drink Pinot Noir for the rest of my life.

I drunk three or four every night (plus beer) for ten days straight in tokyo and ended up getting extremely sick for a couple days, and after that I couldn't bring myself to get them again until the end of the trip where I drunk 7 of the apple flavoured ones and fell asleep in the hallway outside our apartment.

I remember this as well.

I think there isn't mainstream distribution in Australia for it, so it's imported by a third party who then sell it to Woolworths etc.

Whereas Coca-Cola etc etc is all made locally with huge economies of scale.
