But the order of multiplication and division does not matter, these are different ways of doing the same thing. Division is just multiplication of (1/n) if you intended to divide by n.

Same with subtraction and addition, same thing, subtraction is just adding a negative.
3-6 and 3+(-6) is the same thing.

Placing either multiplication or division always first, or either addition or subtraction always first leads just to a fundamental misunderstanding that in both cases you are essentially DOING THE SAME THING whichever of the two you do first.
