How does being a priest sound even remotely comfy?
I'm protestant so I can't talk about catholics, but our local pastor has a lot of things to take care of.
Hosting church service (or whatever you call it, English isn't my native language), teaching religion at a local school, teaching teenagers about Confirmation (Catholic version would be Communion, Jewish version would be Bar mitzvah I think), performing baptisms, performing emergency baptisms for dying people, probably talking at funerals, being able to speak perfect Latin, being able to sing (church songs), being forced to live in a shitty apartment with an uneven floor right next to church, having to be perfectly friendly at all times, learning tons of Bible verses by heart, raising sons that get made fun of at school for being the pastor's son, etc. The pay is shit too because you survive on donations

This is not the Middle Ages any more. Yea, they probably do some morning prayer shit routine and some other prayer routines during the day, but there are different orders of monks. They can't regulate you not jacking off, if you have a laptop, you could set up a proxy server. And face it, any robot who joins the monk life has given up on poon a very long time ago. Besides, the Catholic Church is getting more and more liberal, I'm sure it could be a comfy place for the robot of the near future to consider being a part of.
