I would say that the majority of actual robots have grown up in such a way that they lack "conventional" personality traits; that might be because they had no male role models, because they had a bad start in childhood and never managed to recover enough to be properly socialised, or any other possible factors.

That's why outside intervention is really the only hope, a Misaki if you like, to be that support network and help reintegrate and socialise the robot into normie society where they can begin forming their own support networks and find love.

Beyond that, the best a robot can hope for is extremely damaged goods, or an unattractive woman (probably a landwhale) who's finally realised she can't have her 10/10 prince charming, is now bored of the cock carousel and ready to settle out of desperation so her friends and family stop looking down at her like she's a spinster.
