Funny story about that. There was a fat, nerdy kid that was genuinely nice and would open the door for everyone everyday. He would literally stand there for 10 minutes in the morning. I talked to him in comp sci. a couple times and he helped me with my program. He was a serious computer wiz and loved helping people out.

So, when time came for high school senior's election season he decided to run as the school's "web master". Basically ran all tech in school assembly and coded the schools website. You have to do a speech to get elected to this position.

So he goes up to the stage. He starts his speech off well. And then he says something like:
>I will hold the school's technology to a standard. Just as I hold the doors open for you every single morning!

Literally everyone in the audience of ~700 people got up and started clapping and hollering. Everyone knew who this kid was because he's been doing the door shtick for 4 years of high school. The other nerdy kids and tech Chad didn't stand a chance.

He was a good guy, I'm glad it worked out for him. Everyone loved that kid.
