I've been wearing colorful girl socks lately. They feel nice and cute, but I constantly have lingering fears that someone will notice them.

just wear socks that match your shoes. If you have white shoes, wear white socks. If you have black shoes, wear black socks. If you have boots, wear boat socks.
And wear ankle socks if you are wearing shorts normal socks if you have on long pants.
If you have boots on, disregard the last portion about ankle socks.

I started wearing black socks a few years ago, they look much less autistic than white socks.

I never knew socks mattered so much until I switched over.
