Well, I haven't been on r9k for many years, it seems milder nowadays, but still pretty horrible. The whole fascist ideology trend has seriously become humorous for the most part.

After all these years of trying to get some people in my life to understand empathy and compassion I learned that not only are certain people incapable of it, but they also need to have fascist ideologies, otherwise they seem to indeed lose direction in life.

Pretty sad. But instead of spending another year trying to figure out how to change/help people I've decided to just find some humour in it and laugh it off.

I would completely agree that these people NEED this in order to grasp onto anything material in their lives.
