has anyone here experienced an altered state of consciousness brought on by computer use?
it seems like the repetitive behaviors can get me worked up and very mentally angry and confused. A weird state of ennui and lack of mental clarity comes over my consciousness and I start to (not even joking) gibber and clench my teeth repeatedly in a totally irrational mental confusion and psychotic anger. I don't understand why this happens, and wonder if other people have experienced this?
right, r9k has too much traffic and only the general fembot feels bullshit gets responses
a bump before I try someplace like wizchan I guess

Yeah. I clicked on twitter followers to unfollow them in my timeline searching for ones I didn't want. It put me in a Flow (Psychology) state where everything was open and moving like the air in my brain.

If you think any situation without drugs counts as an altered state of consciousness it's probably just because you haven't done drugs yet desu.

same thing happens to me, sounds like you're being dramatic about it though

you realize that meditation, among other innocuous behaviors can trigger altered states of consciousness?

I realize that's the common, incorrect stance on this topic, yes. It's mostly a point of view bandied about by people who haven't experienced actual altered states of consciousness through drugs. It's not even close.

Drug induced altered states of consciousness are very different from real altered states of consciousness. You have no fucking idea what you're talking about.
