this site is filled with underage, every time there's a thread about it most people claim to have first started coming here when they were underage

I'd guess as people get older they just have more shit to do and don't have the energy for shitposting/arguing, so older people tend to lurk or drop the site for long periods of time.

To be completely honest I just turned 18 this January and have been posting underage for longer than I have "legally"
I started 4chan as a /mu/ user when I was 16 about 2 years ago and came to /r9k/ around this time last year just before the sm*g p*pe posters started rolling in

I know of three other people who post on 4chan. one who is 19 and is a active /mu/ and /fa/ poster, another who is 18 and uses /a/ and a third who is /19/ and occasionally frequents /mu/ and /r9k/

I don't think younger kids use this site as much as the meme era has died down
/b/ was extremely popular when I was 12-13 and loads of kids in my class used it besides me

I browsed since I was 13, and I'm 20 now.

It was almost definitely all kids. I know because I'm an expert.
