Forgive me, fellow wizards and apprentices, for I have strayed from the wise path. About six months back, I sought the company of a succubus. She was interested in stealing the mana of the untouched and I was ready to give it to her. However, upon seeing my face in a picture, she was immediately put off. I hadn't realized it before due to a certain degree of a lack of self-awareness, but I am in fact, ugly. I recall many instances where my appearance has been ridiculed, but I hadn't thought much about them until now.

This revelation was not unwelcome, as I feel that it will guide me on the path once again. I need the support of my kin, for though I did not relinquish my mana to the demon, the guilt remains that I was ready to give up the bright future of wizardry ahead of me.
