Drink a bit, don't get too drunk until most people are already drunk, though, being the first drunk kinda sucks, but being wasted along with everyone can be a really fun activity.
Avoid big groups and talk to people one on one. I find that generally easy, since it's hard to keep up with the conversations of many normies at once.
