I get mistaken as a smart person a lot actually. I guess I look nerdy and I'm a pretty quiet, reserved person. It's hard disappointing people all the time when they realize I'm as average as everyone else. I've taken those IQ test online and I've always been average. I'm also terrible at mathematics which always deemed as the subject to prove a pseudo-intellectual from a real "smart" person.

But what exactly is 'self-awareness'? Is it knowing you exist? Is it being aware of your own flaws? Well in order to answer that we have to go back to the prehistoric age when humans lived simple lives, hunting and mating. Living in tribes and surviving together. But who are we to say they were not self-aware? And who are we to say that we have self'awareness. We learn new things every day, not just about the world, but of ourselves. We learn how we respond to situations, how we feel about certain circumstances and ultimately, we question them. And with our own questioning, we grow more self'aware.

TLDR: My pseudo-intellectual rant about self-awareness that leads nowhere.
