It's simple enough to leave /r9k/. I only come around here once or twice a month to make fun of robots, although I used /r9k/ a lot in 2009 and 2010 when I was a sad virgin. I usually use other boards which are not so sad and depressing, mostly lighthearted joking. Leaving will probably make you feel less depressed, that's just what happens when you surround yourself with depressed up people all the time and dwell on your problems.

I left and things improved a lot, got a job, met my husband, bought a puppy, got married, quit my job, became a househusbando, buying our first house soon, etc. We met on 4chan.
