Maybe you can try to gain lucidity during a dream. Basically, you must do "activation" patterns during the day like, idk, counting, looking at your hand sometimes, or just stay at clocks. Next time, when you are sleeping, you will do that just from habit like IRL, and if you notice something strange There it is! Lucidity!

My mom's brain is weird so she gets lucid dreams, OBEs, sleep paralysis, false awakenings etc. quite often. I've only had a lucid dream once. I think I was about to get really rich and date some hot celebrity, and it was literally too great. Then things lost their vibrancy, the dream kind of slowed down and then I woke up. Another night, I took 2mg of Xanax. I sort of passed out, but then I woke up to the feeling of someone lying next to me. I was too freaked out to move for a second, until I realized if someone broke into my house to kill me, they wouldn't just lie there next to me then not move. Freaky shit.

Mates I'll tell you what to do in sleep paralysis. This is coming from a genuine wizard so listen the fuck up. Okay, move your hands around while you're paralysed (you still get that sensation that your arms are moving a little even though in real life they're not) now try to imagine grabbing familiar objects like your cellphone or TV remote. Quite often you will be able to find these objects if you imagine yourself grabbing the object as you close your hands around it...

There are times where you dream more, and seasons when less. You don't have to worry about it.

About the sex thing: my sexual life is "ridiculous" haha i lost virginity two years after entering univeristy, and that was my only time doing it. But all the emotional thing is in our mind. I lucid dream every week. It fucking sucks at this point. I don't even go out of my way to make shit happen like spawning hordes of naked girls, running at super speed or flying, I'm just like "yeah this is happening because this is a dream".
The thing I dislike about lucid dreams is that they're so vivid, that when you have them too often it's hard to care about real life. Like, I wake up from an adventure to the real world which fucking sucks and it's too hard to cope with it, and it happens several days every week.
The best part of my every day life is when I'm dreaming and that makes me depressed as fuck.

In your head tell yourself that you want normal dreams and you just want to coast through them instead of the whole "conscious thing". This works for me, after a few of weeks with no lucidity you'll just be on the normal train again
