i put a shortcut on the homescreen of the house compter, for mom. now she thinks im a computer whiz and wats me to fo to some technical school to work on computer because "you like computers".

OP here, can a very high IQ be blamed for my lack of creativity? I've read a lot on this subject but I'm skeptical.

Apparently teachers kept telling my parents I was a musical genius but they never told me and stopped me from ever pursuing it because they wanted me to be an accountant.
Now I'm on track to be an accountant and I hate my life because I would have given anything to be a pro musician.
