I went back to my old college today to grab some of my old work and It's been just over 6 months since I left. And when I went in, I felt that old bitterness, resentment, anger and hate I had in me when I was a student there.

I also had bumped into someone I knew and I blanked on them and just kept walking. Same old feeling in me when I saw them. They were on my good side so it was odd to have that bitter feeling.

I had thought that whatever resentment I had would cease once I had sort myself out. But it seems I haven't finished sorting myself out.

It can, but it doesn't just instantly become better if you wait long enough. You don't become better by sitting and wanting to be better for 10 years. You have to try every day to improve yourself, and then maybe you will. You may never have a happy life up to some grandiose expectation, but we're not all guaranteed happiness.

I'm sick of studying everyday. After I get my PhD, all I'll have to worry is going to work everyday and I can shit the rest of the day.
