I can't remember how long I've known about 4chan, but I only got non-dialup internt access on a non-crappy computer in 2008. Read a lot about this place from ED. I've been browsing since fall 2014.

It was in 2008, l didn't really know about 4chan, only came here from time to time but l was like 15 back then so l'd just come here from time to time. Once l turned 17, l became a /b/tard and picked up lifting after seeing a thread about it, it's been a long time now. I think late 2006 or early 2007, thought /b/ was really cool and edgy with all the raid threads and actual funny memes. Years later I was sick of all the cancerspam and found this board, with all the pathetic beta wizards who I laughed at. But eventually I began to relate to them and started to become.. not a robot but at least a cyborg. And here we are today.

Eventually stopped browsing /b/ at all about a year ago, maybe longer

I didn't really pay much attention to the name of the website but it would always get linked on message boards, for a while I just learnt to stay clear of it as it had bad photos.

And that is how /r9k/ got stuck with me, I've been here ever since with a new low being reached everyday.

I found 4chan around 2007,redirected here a few times from the long lamented Daily Rotten. I used to hunt GIFs to deconstructhe and import into Second Life to sell as animated paintings. Lots to see here, but only recently began to post stuff here. Always a surprise around each page...

Nearly nine years. Discovered encyclopaedia dramatica in my last year of high school and then came to 4chan from there. Those were the days of caturday, desu spam and other juvenile shit. Its been quite a big part of my life and I get a bit sentimental when I think about it.

First I was in it for the porn and stupid meme humour but I genuinely believe anonymity leads to the best discussions and attracts the most interesting people. I can remember a lot of of posts over the years that have changed the way I think about stuff in a fundamental way
