So it's a 2 or 3 months beard now but it is so patchy I want to cry. Should I shave it?

I would, i would love to have a full beard, but it doesn't. So i just shave because i think it looks better.

I'd recommend so. Just shave off the sides and you still have a solid middle part that you can work with. In fact, there's whole forums full of beard advice, check those out.
