My family spoke with Jelena both before and after this article was published and knew that Jelena was going to be interviewed. Jelena DID NOT say that she was a direct descendent of Tesla as all of our family as well as any serb would know that Tesla didn’t have any children. She explained that our family are descendants of Tesla’s uncle Trivun Mandic. When the author conducted this interview he must have misunderstood and then misquoted her words.
