Pretty much I should have been at a certain parking lot of a mall, around the time I am asking to be shooped in, for an important meet-up but I wasn't by a margin of a missing 40 minutes or so.
Why? Because I had lied about being there already in the first place (told her I was there already). I was elsewhere. Not actually doing anything wrong (by my standards), but I was elsewhere. Here comes the kicker: the parties involved refuse to believe that I was already there and that I fabricated the "being on a phonecall at the parking lot" bit, and that I should just show the parking ticket if my excuse was true.
Naturally, as I just explained, the excuse is far from true. However, since the person involved is not only a companion but also a political crutch, I absolutely cannot have female hormones breeding up a potential scandal - and thus I need to shut that shit down.jpg fast.
