well, any time you see "short hair" threads etc. the guy is absolutely going to appear in those among any other themed threads that happen in the webms, sometimes posting links to downloads he keeps recreating

when I started realizing just how much it happens on this site (so much more common than one would think) and just how far some of these people actually go in order to make it look like their shitty little material is getting popular, it escaped me for a long time as well but I think it mostly has to do with self-validation at "any cost", even if it means blatant deceit of others and yourself

admitting to spamming your own shit constantly is seen as negative for somewhat obvious reasons, but then the more pathetic option of pretending like it's being posted by someone else is somehow better because you think you're getting away with it without anyone noticing

I think the idea is also to try to dodge the negative feedback which is more likely to be posted when the poster isn't hiding behind anonymous false characters
